Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model

Wolf Pack Consulting and Therapeutic Services Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model (TREM) group is an intervention designed to facilitate trauma recovery among women with histories of exposure to emotional, sexual and physical abuse. Building on cognitive restructuring, psychoeducational, and skills-training techniques, the gender-specific 12 week group emphasizes the development of coping skills and social support. It addresses both short- and long-term consequences of violent victimization, including mental health symptoms, especially posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression, and substance abuse. Specific domestic violence topics addressed are warning signs of abuse, risk factors for domestic violence, safety planning around domestic violence, the effects of domestic violence on adult survivors and the impact of domestic violence on children.

A Mental Health Assessment or ASAM is required in order to bill health insurance for this group. OHP and some private insurance accepted.
